In 2007, I was working as a project manager in the automotive industry in Poland. When my company asked me to relocate to Paris for a project, I thought I’d be here for a year, max two years. I had no connections and no idea how to find my footing in this foreign country. I was shocked at how difficult it was to complete basic processes – renting an apartment, getting my carte vitale, even opening a bank account! I knew there had to be a better way for people to relocate to Paris, and I could make it happen.
In 2009, I joined forces with my husband and co-founded Your Friend in Paris, combining my skills as a project manager, engineer, and expat. Our goal was simple: to offer a one-stop relocation agency, making moving simple and stress-free. Since then, we’ve grown significantly, helping retirees, families, and young professionals make Paris their home.
