Caroline Bouffard is an Independent Educational Consultant and the founder of A+ College Coaching, based in the Paris area. With a background in finance, she launched her practice in 2014 after completing UC Irvine’s Certificate in Independent Educational Consulting. She specializes in guiding French and multicultural families through the international college admissions process, helping them identify the best academic, social, and financial fit for their child.
Having raised her children across Germany, Japan, and France, Caroline understands the unique challenges faced by globally mobile students. Her expertise lies in supporting “third-culture kids” and international families navigating diverse educational landscapes. Each year, her students enroll in universities across the U.S., U.K., Canada, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland. More recently, Caroline has assisted American students seeking higher education opportunities in Europe, partnering with local experts on French university admissions.
Caroline holds a BS in International Economics from the American University of Paris, an MBA from the University of Hartford, and a Certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from UC Irvine. Committed to staying at the forefront of admissions trends, she regularly visits university campuses, attends industry conferences, and engages in professional development. Caroline is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and International ACAC.
